No candies?

My bus broke down today. After learning this, my first thought was "Oh frabjous," which got the poem Jabberwocky stuck in my head (The jaws that bite, the claws that catch...). The ordeal was actually not so bad. We waited for about a half hour, another bus came, we got home, ta da.

HOWEVER...This second bus smelled like rotten lemon Pine Sol. I'm not sure if Pine Sol can rot, or comes in lemon scented, but if it could/does, it would smell like this bus. By the time I got home, the scent of horror had clung to my clothes and I had to change. Arg. I am now contemplating taking a shower, weighing the loss of bad scent against my laziness. I think the laziness is winning.

I also realized, on this bus trip of lemon-rot, that Halloween is tomorrow! Yay! Unfortunately, this reminded me I have no costume. :(
We have two bags of candy at my house. :(
One of them is candy corn and almost gone now. :(
I can't go trick or treating without a costume, which means no more candy for Casey. D: !!!

What good is Halloween without candy? I want to rot my teeth/brains out with massive amounts of sugar, for this is the point of the year's most sacred holiday! Blasphemy, I  say! Blasphemy!

I want my candy.

Eh?

Today, I was pulled out of my artly project of insanely early morning rock carving (Huzzah, for power tools, by the way) and into a senior assembly/advertisement for the Jostens people.
Now, I didn't know it was for Jostens at first. They started out with a speech/lecture of nostalgia and congratulatory gobbeldyblah, and then moved on to the importance of being at graduation, and where we can go from there, and more gobbeldyblah of the inspirational type, and then they so kindly mentioned that in order to get up on the stage, we have to buy the cap and gown from - you guessed it - Jostens.

sdjhfgajhg#$@%!!What the fizz?#$

It's not that I mind the buying of heavy neon green drapery/quirky square hat thing/fuzzy danglewhoozit-which-goes-on quirky-square-hat-thing, but it got me wondering how in the name of baked goods did these people get the monopoly on all the high school crap? And since when did companies get to advertise things in high school auditoriums? This bugs me. I'm not sure why...
And now that I think of it, I'm pretty sure I left the order form in my locker. Ah well, I have until Thursday.

P.S. Also, I am carving alabaster in art. At 7 flipping A.M. and with no muscle. Halp!

idk, my bff spacegoat?

So I was off on one of my many pixellated adventures around Azeroth (the planet of World of Warcraft, for you non geeks), and you'll never guess who I found.

Photobucket

Yep. Turns out, Jill was a purple squid-faced space goat sitting next to a wanted poster in Nagrand. Made me feel all giggly inside.

I have also learned that the zombies like infecting all the important people (flight master, quest givers, and the like) in the only major city in Outland. *poutpout* How'm I supposed to get anywhere when my gryphon taxi wants to eat my brains?

HOWEVER...I did spend the majority of the day watching V for Vendetta, which is a good movie.

That's all for now. ^^

Brainsss...

To celebrate the candy-giving fun and joy-ness that is Halloween,  the ever-wonderful folks at Blizzard (All hail Blizzard, creators of World of Warcraft) have decided to invade all the major cities with zombies. Thusly, I have been zombie hunting/smushing/slashing/into-turning? for most of today. Fun, fun.
They've taken over the Stormwind Harbor, the Cathedral, and the Stocks, but we will prevail! Down with the Scourge! ...Ahem.

In other news, I have discovered a stash of Nilla Wafers in my pantry, which will be mine now.
<.<

...Yup.

Ta Da!

Oh joy, and gasp, and wonder, I have made - ta da! - a blog! Shocking, I know, right?
Everybody else had them...

Currently, it is raining. I lack hot cocoa and many pairs of warm socks, so I'm making do with regular socks and some apple cinnamon flavored tea. Yum, apple cinnamon.

Also, I think the nail file is getting dull. Maybe? Possibly? Maybe. Dunno.

P.S. Hi, mom!
